32 weeks!

WEEKLY STATS:
Weight:  143
Cravings: Fruits, Sprite, French Fries, Chips and Salsa
How do I feel: I feel tired. Nothing new, just lack of energy all around

So I am 32 weeks. I had a doctors appointment today and Charles was measuring about 18 inches and over 4 pounds! I can't believe it! My little man may turn out to be not so little :) I am so looking forward to meeting him though. Joe's aunt gave us the glider we wanted so it makes the nursery feel not as empty. Still waiting for my shower in 3 weeks before we go out and buy stuff. I am sure some "big" items will be gifted to us.

In other news I started a new job. I am at a pediatric dental clinic and LOVE IT! The children are so cute, and if they are naughty....well I only have to deal with them for 30 minutes and then they are gone! Joe has an interview for a vet position at Banfield Pet Hospital next week. We are crossing our fingers that he gets it. It would be such a relief for him to have a job right away when he graduates in May.

Lastly, Joe's cousin Kevin passed away on Christmas eve. We are still not sure of the specifics, but police are looking into it. He was only 22 so it is just a sad situation all around. After the death of my Grandma Roy and now with the death of Kevin, I have realized what amazing families I am a part of. They truly are there for one another and it is such a comfort.

I hope everyone's holiday was good and that all of you with babies spoiled the crap out of them!

Life Changes

I know I haven't posted in awhile. My Grandma has been in failing health the last month and she went home to heaven on Sunday. I have been very close with her ever since I was little. She was my absolute favorite person in the whole world. Our baby is named after her husband who was also a special person in my life. I can't believe she is gone from this world and that I won't be able to talk with her when I want and see her. My family is very religious so I KNOW I will see her again in heaven, but for right now that just doesn't seem good enough.
The last week of her life I spent every day 6+ hours in the nursing home with her. She had stopped eating and drinking and was unresponsive. She is such a tough lady...she lasted 13 days without food or water! The last sentance she ever spoke was to me, and I find that very special. I told her I had to leave for the day and I'd be back tomorrow and that I loved her and she replied so clear "I love you too". She was my best friend next to my mother. All 3 of us were so close. I just can't believe she is gone. Being pregnant while this has happened has been tough to with the emotions. Sometimes I feel fine but then others I just break down and can't stop. Thankfully my husband is amazing and will just hold me and be with me until I stop. Here are a few of my favorite pictures of us.
